IPL 2020 final match was played between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians in UAE in which Mumbai Indians scripted history for the fifth time and has lifted the Dream 11 IPL 2020 trophy.
Earlier, Mumbai Indian skipper Shreyas Iyer accomplished 500 runs in this season and now skipper Rohit Sharma has just made it to the elite list.
Rohit Sharma, on November 11, added another feather to his cap on the completion of 4,000 runs for his franchise in the Indian Premier League.
With this, Sharma has joined MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli in the elite list as they both have spent the majority of their seasons with CSK and RCB respectively, have already touched the landmark.
In his IPL journey so far, Rohit has only donned two jerseys --- Mumbai Indians and Deccan Chargers (2008 to 2011). In total, Rohit Sharma has completed 5162 runs. However, 1171 runs have come while batting for Deccan Chargers at the very beginning of IPL.

In this season of IPL, Rohit has managed to score only 264 runs in the 11 matches at a decent average of 24.00 and a strike-rate of 126.31 as he was suffering an injury
It is pertinent to mention here, Rohit Sharma has also become just the second player after MS Dhoni to play 200 IPL matches. The Chennai Super Kings captain had achieved the feat in the ongoing season. Rohit was forced to miss four league stage matches due to hamstring issues or else he would have completed 200 IPL matches a couple of weeks back.
Rohit has one century and 38 half-centuries in the Indian Premier League and is one of the most successful captains in the history of IPL. Rohit has led Mumbai Indians to four IPL title victories in a span of just seven years.
