Ireland's capital Dublin has been engulfed in riots and many public protesties have been burnt to ashes by anti-immigrants protestors. Ireland Riot Videos are doing rounds on social media with the world wondering how a peaceful country can ge engulfed in so much violence? As per reports, Dublin riot sparked on Thursday when protestors fought running battles with police, torched vehicles and looted shops. Now, the question arises what is Dublin riot reason or what is Ireland Riot reason? Below is what we know so far-
What is Ireland Riot Reason?
As per reports, Ireland Riot Reason is the perfect example how a fake news or rumours can led to a country's law and order downfall. Dublin Riots sparked after three young children were injured in a knife attack outside a school. To be precise, the children were said to be lining up outside a nursery - close to Gaelscoil Cholaiste Mhuire school - when a 'man in 50s' attacked them with knife.
During the knife attack, a woman in her 30s, was also injured along with a man in his 50s before a brave have-a-go man tackled the attacker. Reportedly, Deliveroo driver Caio Benicio revealed he fought off the knifeman using his helmet. Two other children and two adults -- a woman and the suspected perpetrator of the attack -- were taken to hospital after the incident.
Now, the question arises how the brutal knife attack sparked a riot? The answer is nationality of the attacker. At first it was stated that the attacker was an Algerian and hence, anti-immigrant protestors' agitation turned into a riot. However, the Police claimed that misinformation around the accused's nationality sparked the riot. It means, the man may not be from Algeria which rumors suggest. However, the lack of transparency from the Irish Governnment has not helped them to calm the situation.
Garda Commissioner Drew Harris was quoted saying, "We have a complete lunatic hooligan faction driven by far-right ideology, and also then this disruptive tendency engaged in serious violence...It's our responsibility to make sure that we police the streets, and part of that is we ask people to act responsibly and not to listen to the misinformation and rumour that is circulating on social media...The facts are being established, but the facts are still not clear on a lot of the rumour and the innuendo is being spread for malevolent purposes."
