Sidhu Moosewala, who was shot dead on Sunday at Jawaherke Road, Mansa district, is about to cremate in his village at 2 PM today.
A new twist has come up in this murder mystery. A notorious gangster, blue eye boy for many politicians, and closely related to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang Jaggu Bhagwanpuria is on the Police radar and may be associated with Moosewala’s murder.
Who is Jaggu Bhagwanpuria?
Jaggu Bhagwanpuria was born on 04-06-1992 to his parents namely Savinder Singh & Harjeet Kaur at village Bhagwanpur PS Kotli Surat Malhi, Police District Batala. He is one of the most dreaded gangsters of Punjab & nearby States. He has more than 30 cases of murder, extortion, robbery & smuggling of narcotics registered against him he is presently lodged in Patiala jail and operating his network from jail.

He came in contact with Sonu kangla r/o Amritsar who was a drug peddler. He used to work as a drug courier for Sonu kangla from the jail. He also called Sukh Bhikhariwal to work with Ranjeet Singh as TT r/o Amritsar who was a big drug peddler in the Amritsar area. They used to collect heroin from freight trains coming from Pakistan.
To escape Manu Pehalwan
On 12-06-2017, he got his most trusted aide Harwinder Singh as Manu Pehalwan s/o Kulwant Singh r/o Village Mehmachak PS Kotli Surat Malhi Batala from the Police custody with the help of his accomplices namely Fateh, Darman, Malkit Singh as Sonu, Mandeep Singh as Ladha while the former was brought by the Police from Hoshiarpur jail to district Courts Batala.

After the murder of Vipan Sharma, Shubam was at large & he helped him to procure 3 Pistols of .32 through his contact Rafiq r/o Lucknow UP at the cost of 45 thousand each. In the mid of August 2018, he used to procure one Bretta Pistol to Shubam through his contact Darman at Sugar Mill Batala at the cost of 4.5 Lacks. This Pistol was delivered by Manu Mehmachak from Sudar Bhaati & Sonu Bhaati from Gaziabad UP. In Oct2018, Manu Pehalwan also delivers 1 Magnum Pistol & 1 Pump Action Rifle at the cost of 9 lack & 1.7 lack respectively from Sudar Bhaati & Sonu Bhaati. A bulletproof jacket was also delivered to Fateh through Pavitar near Sathiala college for rupees 1.7 lack.
Death threats to Bikram Singh Majithia
He was also alleged to issue death through a Facebook post with death threats to former cabinet minister Bikram Singh Majithia. A man claiming to be his associate uploaded two posts threatening to eliminate Majithia through a Facebook account in the name of "Preet LongoWall". It was alleged that the threats came amid an ongoing war of words between Majithia and Punjab Jails Minister over the political affiliation of Jaggu Bhagwanpuria.
