Is Lahore 1947 a true story?
The answer is no. As per reports, Lahore 1947 will be based on a famous Punjabi drama named 'Jin Lahore Ni Dekhya'. Talking about the famous Jin Lahore Ni Dekhya, it literally means those who did not see Lahore were never born. Or rather, did not see humanity. The drama displays the pain of partition. Jin Lahore Ni Dekhya, is not a story but the truth which even today slaps on the faces of those fighting in the name of religion. The play was written by Asghar Wajahat. His play 'Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya, O Jamyai Nai', is based on the story of an old Punjabi Hindu woman who gets left behind in Lahore, after the Partition of India, and then refuses to leave. Talking about Asghar, he was born on 5 July 1946 in the city of Fatehpur, in Fatehpur district, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his MA (Hindi) in 1968, and his PhD in 1974, also from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), later he did his Post Doctoral Research from Jawaharlal Nehru University (1981–83).

Talking about Aamir Khan, his last film was Laal Singh Chadha, which failed to rake in much money at the box office. It was, however, appreciated when it landed on Netflix. The film starred Kareena Kapoor as well and was the Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks' hit Hollywood film Forrest Gump. Talking about Lahore 1947 actor, Sunny Deol's last film Gadar 2 was a block buster.
Gadar 2 collected more than Rs 525 crore at the box office and for just one day, became the highest-grossing Hindi film in India of all time after beating Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan.Soon, Shah Rukh Khan's movie Jawaan over took it.
