According to the latest information, the central agency has already informed the Punjab state government regarding the upcoming threats in the state and it was disclosed that across the border, some terrorist groups are active to disturb the peace in the state. Even after the tip-off, the state government failed to track the anti-national movement that lead to these horrifying incidents. It is the foremost duty of the State Intelligence Wing to tackle these kinds of problems in their state.
Counter Intelligence Wing whose key task is to handle these kinds of activities failed to stop this kind of activity. Punjab has reported five back-to-back cases of terror activities in the state, in half-2021. This shows that once again terror activities across the border are active and are ready to enter the state.
The state has witnessed five such blasts since August and the police are unsuccessful to catch the accused, which raises a big question mark on the working of the intelligence wing of the state police.
