After the news of a 20-year-old Dalit woman's brutal gangrape and murder by four upper-caste men emerged from Uttar Pradesh's Htahras it hailed massive outrage from the public especially youth across the nation. On one hand, SIT and CBI are conducting a probe over this but on the flip side agitated youth has demanded the execution of the culprits. However, its outcome would remain evident to see.
Notably, the victim's identity has not been revealed by the officials but a picture related to the case is doing rounds on the internet. Nevertheless, the pertinent question arises here is, Had she been brutally gang-raped and murder? Is she the real Manisha?
Don't worry, we will reveal the truth to you. The picture of a girl that is going viral on social media is not that of a Hathras rape victim.
The viral picture is of Manisha, who belongs to Chandigarh. Unfortunately, she is no more in this world. Manisha Yadav died of illness two years ago.
Raising voice against the wide-spread and calculative use of Manisha's picture, her father Mohan Lal Yadav said that he was deeply saddened that his daughter was being slandered even after her death.

Reportedly, Mohan Lal on Wednesday had lodged a complaint with the Chandigarh SSP and asked him to look into the matter and to stop the picture of his daughter from going viral. Also, he has sought stern action against the one who was doing so.
Manisha Yadav's father said that his family lives in Ram Darbar Colony. Manisha tied the nuptial knot of marriage on June 21, 2018. Later, she developed gallstone disease, which could not be treated, and July 22, 2018, she left for heavenly abode.
