On Friday, local media reported that Islamic State (IS) terrorists kidnapped eight civilians in Iraq's western Anbar province.
According to the reports, the five residents of the city of Rawah had been kidnapped by the IS terrorists in the northeast of the same name district.
According to the local law enforcement agencies, in another incident, the militants kidnapped three other civilians from 80 kilometers west of the city of Haditha.
Former Prime Minister of Iraq Haider Abadi declared last year that the country had defeated the IS on its soil, and local security forces would continue eliminating the terrorists' sleeper cells.
