Saif Ali Khan starrer web-series Tandav has created huge controversy ever since it has been released on Amazon Prime Video. The web-series has earned a lot of criticism after it showcased Actor Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub playing a stage performer appearing as Lord Shiva and is heard saying, "Azaadi, what the...?" Many social media users have accused the makers of Tandav for deliberately mocking Hindu gods and even deliberately glorifying the propaganda of the left-wing.
Tandav has a big star-case which includes Said Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover and many more.
Now, BJP leader Kapil Mishra has demanded to ban Tandav. Kapil took to Twitter and requested Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar to ban Tandav and remove them from Amazon Prime.
Kapil shared his own video in which he said, "In is very important to ban Tandav web-series immediately. This web-series is a conspiracy to spread violence in the country. Dalits have been severely humiliated in this web-series. The content also tries to divide Hindu and Muslims. The Hindu religion has been mocked again and again in this web-series. Police have been humiliated in this. This web-series is full of poison that wants to create violence in the country. Content that creates a communal divide, which creates violence based on casteism has been used deliberately."
"I request the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar to ban Tandav now. Tandav should be banned immediately," added Mishra.
Kapil also took to Twitter and wrote, "Tandav is anti Dalit and full of communal hatred against Hindus Please write to @PrakashJavdekar ji Email : minister.inb@gov.in."
