The rumours of Jaaved Jaaferi's son Meezaan and Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda are among all but the same is denied by Meezaan several times.

Recently, in a recent interview when he was questioned about how this gossips affected him and whether it was awkward after all this to meet Jalsa he replied, “At that time, it was awkward for me to enter my own house. My parents were giving me looks. And they were like 'what is this?' and I was like 'even I don't know'. I last went there when they hosted a Diwali bash. The entire industry was there."
He said that he didn’t know how the rumours came up when he only meet her at a Diwali bash. Further adding,” Honestly, me and Navya are really close friends and I think because of me, her name has come up in a lot of places and that is unfair. It's her private life. I don't want to include any of her family. It's really unfair to be talking about someone else at this point in time." Talking about the paparazzi outside Jalsa, he told, "I last went there when they hosted a Diwali bash. The entire industry was there. Jalsa is a monument, you cannot be missed by the paparazzi if you go there."
Navya is often shown up on the Instagram stories of Meezaan’s sister Alaviaa Jaaferi which is because they two are best friends the same was once said in an interview a few years back.
He said, "We're from the same friends' circle. She's my sister's bestie and a really good friend. I'm not in any relationship with anyone."
About Meezan he was starred with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece Sharmin Segal in the movie ‘Malaal’ wherein he made his Bollywood debut. He is also working with Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal, and Pranitha Subhash in Hungama 2 which is a Hindi-comedy-based movie and is expected to be released on the 16th of this month. The film is directed by Priyadarshan and jointly produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, Chetan Jain, and Armaan Ventures. It is a sequel to the movie Hungama which was released in 2003.

As for the daughter of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and businessman Nikhil Nanda, Navya she had started Aara Health which is an online healthcare portal after completing her studies at New York's Fordham University last year. She also collaborated with designer Monisha Jaising as a model in her mother’s designer label in 2018.
