Jaat features Sunny Deol as Baldev Pratap Singh ("Jaat"),  Randeep Hooda as Ranatunga (a former Deputy Commander of the Jaffna Tiger Force, who terrorises the villagers), Regina Cassandra as Bharathi, Saiyami Kher as SI Vijaya Lakshmi,  Vineet Kumar Singh as Somulu and more in the key roles.

Is Jaat inspired by real-life events?

Young audiences often take action movies too seriously—almost wishing they were real life. Far from being a reality, Jaat is a craft of Bollywood's fictional escapades rather than a documentary of real-life events. And here’s why you should ONLY take the full-throttle entertainment home.

The Jaat Buzz…

After reaching the theaters, the movie not only stole the spotlight with its stunning star cast but also captured the audience's hearts, thanks to its captivating storyline.

The movie centers on Brigadier Baldev Pratap Singh, portrayed by Sunny Deol, who combats Sri Lankan terrorists in a coastal village in Andhra Pradesh. The antagonist, Ranatunga, along with his troops (played by Randeep Hooda), wreaks havoc on the village. The narrative weaves together themes of corruption, community struggles, and patriotism, all linked through intense action.

For the record, Jaat is giving tough competition to Salman’s action drama, Sikandar, at the box office. The ticket window of Jaat is seeing steady growth, having garnered Rs. 40.25 crore during its extended four-day weekend.
