In connection with an over Rs 200 crore money laundering case being investigated against suspected conman Sukesh Chandrashekar, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has come at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) headquarters for interrogation. As a witness in the lawsuit, the actress will be recording her statement. The ED had already questioned Jacqueline in the matter.
The interrogation will take place in the MTNL building in Central Delhi, which also houses the ED's headquarters. Her statement would be recorded by a woman official and five others. This comes only days after ED authorities detained Jacqueline at the Mumbai airport, barring her from going internationally. On the basis of a Look Out Circular (LoC) issued by the federal probe agency, the 36-year-old actor was initially stopped by immigration officials at the airport.

In connection with the case, the Sri Lankan-origin actor was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in repeated sessions. The ED summoned her again on Monday to participate in the continuing investigation.
The Enforcement Directorate filed a charge sheet under the PMLA Act on Saturday (December 4), identifying a few Bollywood actresses as witnesses, including Jacqueline. The charge sheet had been taken into consideration by the court, and the agency had been asked to provide copies of the charge sheet to all of the defendants.
The charge sheet case will be adjourned until December 13th. The ED authorities remained tight-lipped about the situation. In addition to Jacqueline, another Bollywood actress, Nora Fatehi, has appeared as a witness in the case.
According to a report by a leading daily, the Enforcement Directorate has filed a seven-thousand-page charge sheet against Sukesh and two Bollywood leading females, Jacqueline and Nora Fatehi. The conman is said to have given the actresses costly gifts.
Sukesh Chandrasekar claimed during an interrogation that he gave Jacqueline presents worth ten crores of rupees and Nora Fatehi a luxurious car. Among the presents were a horse valued at INR 52 lakh rupees and four Persian cats valued at INR 9 lakh each.
This time Jacqueline Fernandez gets into a serious trouble and her close friend and mentor Salman Khan may not be able to help her. All of her friends seem to have disappeared, preferring to remain silent on this money laundering case.
According to the story, a source close to her co-star said, "She is a very kind girl." However, she is far too ambitious for her own good. She had always wanted to live a good life. Always, only the very best for her.”
