Jailed gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria at kapurthala modern jail created a ruckus in the premises and broke the lcd installed at high security barracks. According to jail sources, he broke the LCD in anger. After which, on the complaint of the jail administration, the Kotwali police station has registered a case against the gangster under 427 IPC and 42-A Prison Act. According to the information, Assistant Superintendent (Security) of the Jail Navdeep Singh said that on December 29, 2023, LCD was installed in the high security barracks on the instructions of the Punjab Government. Jailed gangster Jagdeep Singh alias Jaggu Bhagwanpuria got into an argument with an inmate. During this, Jaggu angrily took down the LCD from the wall, threw it on the ground and broke it by kicking. In this way gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria has damaged the government property of the jail and also the lives of the jail inmates were endangered by tampering with the electrical equipment. After this incident, on the complaint of the Jail Superintendent, the Kotwali police station has registered a case and started investigation.
