A Jalandhar Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) was seriously injured after his Activa was struck by a truck near a high-tech checkpoint on Phillaur Highway. ASI Sarabjit Singh had to be admitted into the Civil Hospital for treatment for his injuries. Further action will be taken by the police after recording the ASI’s statement.
ASI Sarabjit Singh was traveling on his 2-wheeler scooter (Activa) during which a collision with a truck took place. According to reports he suffered a broken leg and was gravely injured. He was admitted to the Civil Hospital with the help of SSF (Sadal Suraksha Forcer ‘Road Safety Force’) team that was present near his location.
SSF officers ASI Jaswinder Singh and ASI Paramjit Singh informed that information about the incident was reported to the police station. They inform that after recording the statement of ASI Sarbjit Singh, appropriate action will be taken against the truck driver.
