Jalandhar Bandh News: On the call of Satguru Updesh Tiger Force organization, Jalandhar Bandh kickstarted on Tuesday at 9 am. Jalandhar Bandh was called in protest against the vandalism of Dr. BR Ambedkar's statue in Amritsar on the evening of January 26. An accused named Aakash Singh who is now in police custody climbed to Heritage Street's Ambedkar statue and vandalised it with a hammer. Not only this, but the man returned from Dubai 3 months back as per his mother tried to set the 'stone-carved' constitution on fire, and that too when India was celebrating its 76th Republic Day.

Sat Guru Kabir Tiger Force President Arun Sandal, Soma Hans, Boota, and other leaders said that our society condemns the incident that took place in Sri Amritsar Sahib. Also, we have come to know that some mischievous elements had come to our leader Baba Sahib Ambedkar Chowk. They tried to enter the Chowk, but the police somehow stopped them. The president said that the sacrilege that happened in Amritsar could have happened in Jalandhar as well. We had talked to the administration, but the administration did not assure us. Due to this, we had to call for a bandh.
