A Team of local Police and Hindu activists together raided a closed factory in Jalandhar's Dhogri and caught an illegal beef-selling cartel. As per reports, in a closed factory named Neha Toka, a meat seller from Delhi, Imran was illegally packing beef here. During the raid, the local police also nabbed 13 people employed for packing beef, out of which 12 are reportedly Rohingyas, while one is from Bihar. The person from Bihar who was caught during the raid informed that he came to the factory two days before and was told that his job is to pack chicken, however, fatter meat was being packed there. Not only this, the Bihar man further informed that no animals were slaughtered at the factory. Generally sliced meat used to come there and they have to just pack it and from here the packed meat was used to sent to Delhi and other states.
Notably, the raid at Jalandhar's Dhogri illegally run beef packing factory.is a serious one as packed meat worth tonnes were found. Activists of Hindu organizations said that earlier a beef factory was also caught in Rajpura. It was from them that he came to know that the beef business is going on in Jalandhar as well. After this, the Hindu activists got to the location, and a reiki was done first. When everything was confirmed, they informed the police and got the raid done.
Reports further suggest that when the raid was done with the police, the watchman ran away from the spot by closing the gate. When the gate did not open for a long time, the police entered the factory by jumping over the wall. Thirteen people were caught on the spot while some people fled from the spot as soon as they got the information about the raid. It is pertinent to mention here that last year four cows were murdered in Jalandhar's Dhogri. The murder of cows sparked strong reactions from Hindu organizations. They had alleged that the murder of cows was done to disrupt the peace of Punjab.
