Jalandhar: Big blow to Congress, Deputy Mayor left the party after making serious allegations against the former MLA Rinku

The situation of the Congress Party in Punjab is deteriorating. Recently, after the Mayor and Councilors of Hoshiarpur left the party, now the party in Jalandhar also suffered a major setback. Deputy Mayor of Jalandhar Harsimranjit Singh Bunty has resigned from his post. Deputy Mayor Bunty has sent his resignation to state Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring.

According to sources, Raja Warring is trying to convince the Deputy Mayor, but Bunty has made up his mind to leave the party.



The Deputy Mayor of Jalandhar has made several serious allegations against Sushil Rinku, the former MLA from Jalandhar West, in his resignation letter to the Congress President. He directly mentioned the name of former MLA Sushil Rinku and accused him of weakening the party from within. 

He said that the former MLA, who is mired in corruption, is pointing fingers at the honest workers of the party. All the workers including him are disappointed with the actions of the former MLA. The party high command should think deeply about this. He has also written in his resignation that he is fed up with the different ideologies of the office bearers of the party and is resigning from all the positions of the party.

Deputy Mayor and Youth Congress leader Harsimranjit Singh Bunty did not say which party he is joining but his brother Shanti has already joined Aam Aadmi Party. He has said that he has left the party and has also sent his resignation. Now it is the party high command's job to accept it or not. But he is no longer in the party.
