A businesswoman from Jalandhar, Punjab has announced to become a Sadhvi during the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The Jalandhar-based woman named Anant Giri is 50 years old. As per the information received, she lives in the city's Silver Heights Colony. Currently, Anant Giri is present in the Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj and is teaching 'Swar Yoga Sadhna' to children there. She got married in 1996, however, her husband died in 2012 due to some reasons.
The woman has handed over all her business to her son Sanchit Chopra. After her husband's death, she took over her husband's business and became a successful businesswoman. When her son Sanchit turned 20, she handed over the entire business to him and adopted the path of spiritual practice.
After her husband's death, Anant Giri met Guru Swami Satyaswaroopananda. Guru Swami Satyaswaroopananda inspired her to increase her self-confidence and move towards spiritual knowledge. After this, she dedicated herself completely to meditation and spiritual practice.
Took knowledge (education/initiation) into Swar Vidya in the year 2019
In the year 2019, the Jalandhar woman met Guru Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Swami Charanashrit Giri Ji Maharaj. She took initiation in Swar Vidya from him and started Shri Vidya Sadhana. As per Anant Giri, the knowledge of Swar Shastra is inspired by the dialogue between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Through this knowledge, she is teaching the youths the art of self-awareness, mental balance, and spiritual progress. She is trying to connect the youth with Sanatan Dharma through Gayatri Mantra, Agnihotra, and breathing exercises.
As per the information received, Anant Giri has been working for a long time to give the right knowledge of Sanatan Dharma to the youth. She has led more than 600 youths away from drug addiction and towards spiritual life. She keeps visiting schools and colleges to teach meditation to students and spread spiritual awareness.
