In a shocking development, an employee of Jalandhar's Civil Hospital on Monday tried to take his own life after alleged continuous harassment by management and doctors. After the Jalandhar Civil Hospital's staff attempted suicide he was taken to a private hospital by his companions. The staff who tried to take his own life has been identified as Sarabjit Singh i currently in critical condition. As soon as the information about the suicide attempt came, the local Police reached the spot. As per reports, Sarabjit Singh was posted in the pharmacy of the Civil Hospital. The relatives of Sarabjit have alleged that the hospital management was harassing him unnecessarily. He was under stress for a long time and he tried to commit suicide due to the same stress. Furthermore, reports suggest that Sarabjit has also written a suicide note, in which he has accused some doctors.
Relatives of Sarabjit confirmed that a suicide note was written, however, the content of the letter has not been revealed yet. Reportedly, Sarabjit swallowed some poisonous substance in order to take his own life. His condition remains critical. First, he was treated in a civil hospital, but after that, he was admitted to a private hospital in critical condition.

The name of civil surgeon Raman Sharma has popped and relatives of the Sarabjit have accused Raman of harassing him unnecessarily.However, Raman Sharma while interacting to the media refuted the claims. Interacting with the media Raman Sharma said that he does not know why his name has come as he did not call him even for once. "Yes there was a timing issue and due to the flood situation in Punjab, timings may have increased, but there is no such case of harassment from his side to Sarabjit," said Raman Sharma.
