To ensure fulfilment of ‘Ghar-Ghar Rozgar’ dream of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori personally took a lead and started meeting the industrialists at their doorsteps.
On Tuesday, the Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori visited a shoe factory in leather complex and sought wholeheartedly support for making upcoming mega job fairs to be held from September 24 to 30 a huge success.
During the visit, he held detailed interaction with Tracer Shoe factory’s owner Nitin Kohli. Agrima Kohli,Head of Business Development of Tracer Shoe Factory was also there.
Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said that the main thrust of his visit was to get acquainted about the nature of the manpower the industrialists were looking for. He said that this would ensure a pool of skilled and educated manpower to the industrialists as per their requirements.
The Deputy Commissioner said that he also requested him to share the data to the administration regarding the number of skilled workers required by them.
He said that the association of government and industrial sector was the need of the hour to eliminate unemployment.
Thori said that this would benefit both the youths and industrialists as the youths would get good jobs whereas the industrialists would get skilled labour.
Deputy Commissioner said that that job fairs would be held in DBEE office on September 24, 29 and 30 besides on September 25 and 28, it would be organized at District Industries Centre.
He said that this job fairs would play an instrumental role in accomplishing the ‘Ghar Ghar Rozgar Yojna’ of the Punjab Government besides providing productive and hardworking workforce to the industrialists.
