Jalandhar Gymkhana Elections: Achievers’ manifesto to include Clubhouse, Restaurants & better catering among more highly-requested features

The Jalandhar Gymkhana Elections, which is the most prestigious club for the elite class of Jalandhar, are just around the corner. Keeping this in mind the Achievers group have released their manifesto, which promises to include much-requested and anticipated features, including changes to the subscription policies and membership, along with new restaurants and a new hygienic kitchen for better catering for the club. It also includes a synthetic walking track for the members to enjoy walking in a comfortable and technologically advanced environment and a clubhouse for the youth’s enjoyment.

 

Here are the key highlights of the manifesto:

  • Annual Subscription policy will be amended from 10+2 months to 9+3 months.
  • Senior member (60+) will able to transfer their membership to any family member.
  • The amount of Golden Hand-Shake policy will be increased by 1 Lakh.
  • The multi utility sports card will cost Rs. 750 per month.
  • A pure Vegetarian Restaurant will be introduced.
  • A new hygienic kitchen will be provided with the best & renewed catering facilities.
  • No venue charges on the Kitty Hall booking for any celebrations.
  • Liquor Prices will be reduced by a minimum of 15-20%  
  • A club house will be introduced to cater to the needs of the youth.
  • The spouse will be able to vote on behalf of the club member who is otherwise engaged.
  • Kids zone will remain open till 10:30 PM and Smoking zone will be shifted to some other area of the club.
  • Minimum 20% staff of the club will be female to encourage women empowerment and create a diverse and good working environment.
  • A credit limit of Rs. 5,000 will be introduced along with a wallet card.
  • First Aid facilities will be provided during the club hours.
