Harsirat Kaur, a third-class student of Jalandhar, Punjab has brought laurels to the city and her parents. Harsirat Kaur has become Junior Miss India. Children from 8 to 10 years of age can participate in this competition. Harsirat Kaur has been given the title of Junior Miss India this year. Harsirat Kaur studies in a private school in the city.
Also, Priyansha Chahande from Gujarat came second in this competition, while Sanam Karali from Sundargarh came third. Around 120 children from all over India participated in this competition. Harsirat Kaur from Jalandhar city has won the competition.
Her father Gur Iqbal Singh and mother Neelu said in a conversation with the media that Harsirat’s journey to Miss India junior along with her studies was not easy at all. It was difficult to focus on this competition along with studies but she has achieved success and made them proud.
Harsirat had also auditioned for Junior Miss World in 2023. But she was not selected then. Harsirat was selected in the audition held in Ludhiana, Punjab in the month of August last year in 2024. Harsirat won the final competition held this year and she stood first.
Harsirat's father Gur Iqbal Singh shared that his daughter wants to become a doctor and a model as well. She never accepts defeat. She has made her parents proud. She has worked hard and today she has been rewarded for that.
Previously, Jalandhar's Rachel Gupta, a 20-year-old Indian model, had won the beauty pageant Miss Grand International 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand and became the 12th Miss Grand International. Almost about 50 countries worldwide had sent representatives to compete for the coveted title. The grand finale took place on the same day at the Pavilion Cambon, Paris and Rachel won the competition.
