A bus of the company running under North constituency MLA Bawa Henry met with an accident late at night in Jalandhar, Punjab. Fortunately, no loss of life was incurred due to the accident with the parties involved escaping with minor injuries. According to reports, this accident happened near Jalandhar-Jammu National Highway near Bhogpur. The speeding bus hit a tractor trolley, after which the bus also hit a Bolero vehicle which caused a wide area-spanning jam on the highway, causing problems for the traffic.
According to the information received, this accident happened late night near Bhogpur city. Bus was carrying multiple passengers at the time of the accident who escaped injuries. In the accident, the trolley overturned on the road after colliding with the tractor. In which the tractor driver has suffered minor injuries. As soon as the information was received, the police of Bhogpur police station reached the spot for investigation. Police have seized the vehicles damaged in the accident.
Police promptly reached the spot called in the services of a crane to clear the highway. The highway was cleared after about one and a half hours of effort. Meanwhile, the injured tractor driver was admitted to the hospital and was subsequently discharged after first treatment. According to the information received, no passenger was injured in the incident. It was fortunate that the bus was controlled in time otherwise it could have been a major accident.
