Shocking information has come to the fore from Jalandhar where a 6-year-old was molested by her uncle during a ceremony in the house. As soon as the family got information about the same, the accused was caught by them and handed over to the police for committing such a heinous crime. The girl is undergoing treatment in the Civil Hospital.
Reportedly, a minor 6-year-old girl was molested in Basti Sheikh area of Jalandhar, Punjab. Her own uncle did this to her. As per information, the victim’s family organized religious program at home and invited all the relatives to their house for the same. The accused also came to their house and during the function, he said that he was feeling sleepy and went inside a room to take a rest. He along with him took the 6-year-old inside the room where he molested her.
Later, the victim started screaming loudly and crying, haring this her parents ran towards the room and were shocked to see their daughter in a pool of blood crying and screaming for help. The accused was also present in the room and was then caught up by the family and police were informed about the same.
Police reached the spot on getting the information. ASI Harish Kumar along with his team reached there. The accused was arrested and a case was registered against him. Statements of family members have been taken while the victim is admitted to Civil Hospital for further treatment. The medical reports have confirmed that the girl was not raped but molested by the accused.
