Income Tax Department conducted a raid at prominent businessman's residence and his media company early in morning. Till now, no confirmation about same is given by any of the officials.
Latest information reveals that raid started at 5 in the morning and is still going on. It might be possible that raid is being carried out by Ludhiana Income Tax Team in relation to Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat Elections, it is also being alleged that this case might be related to Cable TV business going on in city. Although from videos that have surfaced it is clearly visible official vehicles and team members in the organization. Security has also been deployed while the gates have been closed.
