On the occasion of Doctors day, the kin of a deceased patient created a ruckus in a private hospital in Punjab’s Jalandhar district. The family members of the deceased have accused the hospital of negligence in treatment which led to her death on Thursday.
Allegedly, a woman from Kapurthala was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday, June 30. Sharan, the deceased woman's daughter, told media that her mother had entered the hospital on her own. The doctors, however, claimed that her condition was critical and gave her an injection as well as a cut in her chest. After his, her mother’s condition deteriorated and she passed away the following day.
After the death of the patient, the family accused the hospital staff of negligence and questioned that ‘if the patient was fine until yesterday, how did she suddenly die.’ “After this, the hospital staffed misbehaved and bouncers scuffled my brother,” tells Sharan.
