Jalandhar Mayor Jagdish Raja's Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Harpreet Walia has defeated novel coronavirus and has been discharged from Civil Hospital after his report for coronavirus found negative.
Reportedly, Harpreet was admitted to the Civil Hospital for being corona positive, he underwent treatment and was tested negative for COVID-19. After a few days, another test was conducted and he reported positive for the contagious disease due to which he had to stay under institutional quarantine.
Harpreet's final report for coronavirus turned out to be negative on May 14 and he has been discharged from the hospital.
Jalandhar's Central Town was sealed off after Harpreet Walia was tested positive for coronavirus. According to the sources, OSD's positive report brought the administration into full swing and samples were taken from all the people who came in contact with him.
Notably, Harpreet Walia is considered dear to the present MLA of Central constituency Rajinder Beri. Before testing positive, Harpreet Walia had been working on the forefront in the battle against coronavirus.
