A liftman employee hanged himself in the basement of the Jalandhar Municipal Corporation office and ended his life. The deceased has been identified as Pawan Kumar. There is no complete information about why the deceased ended his life.
Mukesh Kumar, the police chief of police station division number three, who reached the spot, said that the reasons why the deceased has committed suicide have not yet been known, for now, they have kept the body of the deceased in the civil hospital for post-mortem. He also said that action will be taken based on the statements of the family members of the deceased. Jalandhar's police took possession of the body and started investigating the matter.
Arvind Kumar, Axion of B&R of the Municipal Corporation, said that he has only joined the Municipal Corporation for three months, but Pawan Kumar himself was very good and the Corporation does not need anything from this person. There was no problem. He said that why he ended his life either his family members can tell or it will come out in the police investigation.
