I remember my school life because I miss my school life very much. The weather is very good there especially winter of Punjab. My actual childhood was spent there. Here (in Mumbai) it was just work. But the core memories which you say is always Punjab," said Avneet Kaur.
As per reports, before shifting to Mumbai at a very young age, Avneet Kaur studied at Police DAV Public School in Jalandhar. In Mumbai, Avneet reportedly pursued a degree in commerce from a private college in Kandivali, Mumbai.
Avneet also outlined that she feels safer in Mumbai as compared to Jalandhar. The Tiku Weds Sheru actress said, "I cannot say Jalandhar feels safe because around 7-8 pm almost everything closes. It's not safe for women at all. I remember when we reached Mumbai by train, girls were roaming on the streets around 3 or 4 am in the morning. I was totally surprised. Even many girls were returning from party. Both of them were like a totally different world for me to see. I love living in Mumbai that way. Nobody does that (staring) in Mumbai, whatever clothes you wear."
