In a major breakthrough, Jalandhar Commissionerate Police successfully arrested two associates of the notorious Landa Group after an intense shootout in Jalandhar. Over 50 shots were fired from both sides during the high-stakes chase, which left two police officials injured. The gangsters also sustained injuries in the exchange of fire.
The arrested criminals were involved in multiple heinous crimes, including extortion and other criminal activities across several districts in Punjab.
During the operation, police recovered seven weapons and multiple cartridges from the suspects.
DGP Gaurav Yadav confirmed the operation, stating that the Punjab Police is fully committed to dismantling the organized crime nexus in the region and ensuring the safety and security of the public.
