Jalandhar: Raid at Kingra Chowala village, police recover heroin and other narcotics

Jalandhar rural police raided at Kingra chowala village, the police recovered Heroin and narcotics.

SSP Rural Jalandhar, Swapan Sharma is in continuous action against drug traffickers. SSP, while conducting a special check with the police force, raided several houses. During the raid in a Kingra Chowala village, Bhogpur, the police recovered 15 grams of heroin, and other narcotics, and arrested a woman. The people of the village say that their village has been blacklisted due to drug dealers and their boys and girls are not able to get married.

The SSP said that the raid was carried out on the basis of strict instructions of senior officers and complaints received from the villagers. Drugs and other narcotics have been recovered from the houses of the village where the police raided.

Whenever the police raid, the drug dealers flee from there. Another woman was rounded up by the police. She said that her husband was addicted to drugs and used to take drugs but nothing has been recovered from her house yet. Based on suspicion, the police took her with them. 
Earlier the SSP had raided Ganna village where a large quantity of drugs was recovered and several people were arrested.
