A major step was taken by the Jalandhar Police, under which around 20 spa centers were raided. According to the reports, the centers were situated in the Model Town area of Jalandhar. During the raid, the officials investigated each spa thoroughly, and documentation was checked very carefully.
According to certain reports, the operation resulted in panic among the staff present in the centers. Furthermore, ACP Roopdeep Kaur mentioned that all the spa centers belonged to the Model Town sub-division, and a detailed investigation was conducted in 10 out of 20 spa centers. However, the remaining centers are under inspection.
The investigation of the matter is ongoing, and following the same, the owners of all the mentioned spa centers were summoned by the Police for further questioning and scrutiny of their documents.
The police officials have confirmed that necessary actions will be taken based on the findings, and if any illegal activity is traced, then strict actions will be taken.
