Jalandhar's famous Kulhad Pizza Couple is again in controversy after their Instagram reel went viral on social media and enraged a Sikh body. On Thursday, four to five men including Nihang Singhs of Dal Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Bahadur reached Kulhad Pizza eatery located at Nakodar Chowk and protested against the couple over their viral Instagram reel. Not only this, protestors demanded the Kulhad Pizza couple to come forward and issue an apology. For those who are unaware, Kulhad Pizza couple- Sehaj Arora and Gurpreet Kaur made a reel on a song that ended on abusing people- "Ye Duniya Bari Beh... Hai". This sparked a massive row with the aforementioned Sikh body members approaching the couple and demanding an apology from them. As a result, Sehaj Arora on Friday shared a video on his YouTube channel and addressed multiple controversies including their participation in Bigg Boss 17 as a wildcard contestant.
Sehaj on his YouTube channel alleged that he and his wife were accused of making their private video and leaking it in order to participate in Bigg Boss 17. Not only this, Sehaj slammed Sikh body members who demanded Rs 50,000 in return to end the controversy and the protest. Reacting to reports that he and Gurpreet Kaur may enter the Bigg Boss 17 house over their private video leak controversy, Sehaj said-
"I don't talk about anyone's personal life, but they did it. Also, the issue of Bigg Boss come up. I just want to fold my hands and say that I don't have anything to do with Bigg Boss. She was not my girlfriend. I was with my wife and I will stay with her for the rest of my life. People show negative things like we leaked our video for Bigg Boss. I want to ask them do you have any evidence that the team of Bigg Boss told us to perform such an act and then we will be called in the house? They talked about Bigg Boss and then certified me as a fake Sikhm" said Sehaj Arora.
It is pertinent to mention here that in October 2023, before the start of Bigg Boss 17, an entertainment portal quoted a source in the known development saying, "The Kulhad Pizza couple has not received the offer yet. They might accept the offer only when the production house approaches. Considering the controversy and hullabaloo over the MMS leak, we wouldn’t be surprised if they accept the opportunity to participate in Bigg Boss 17. However, one must note that they are parents of a newborn baby. Will they be willing to enter the BB 17 house and face all the scrutiny? Only time will tell."
It is pertinent to mention here that a few months back, Sehaj Arora and Gurpreet had to face nationwide humiliation after their private video was leaked online. Sehaj had filed an FIR in a Jalandhar Police station and following that, the cops arrested two women who used to work for them.
