In a shocking and horrific incident, a zoo attendant's attempt to impress the visitors backfired after he lost one of his fingers in the jaws of a caged lion. In the Jamaica Lion Zoo viral video, a man who is reportedly a zoo attendant tried to touch the teeth of the lion in the cage while the visitors filmed it. As the man-made multiple attempts to touch the teeth of the 'Leo', it soon made an ugly turn. As per Jamaica Observer, the visitors present at the site thought that the horrific incident was a joke and therefore did not act accordingly. One of the people present during the incident said, "The entire skin and about the first joint of his finger was gone. I didn't realise the seriousness of it because it's their job to put on a show."
It is pertinent to mention here that Jamaica Zoo officials described the incident as "tragic" and said they were reviewing footage to prevent any future recurrences.
