Janhvi was most recently featured in Roohi, which was one of the first big-budget Bollywood films to hit theatres after the coronavirus situation appeared to improve early this year. However, with the second wave, the movie theatres were once again shut down.

Janhvi made her acting debut in Dhadak, starring with Ishaan Khatter, and then went on to feature in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Ghost Stories. Good Luck Jerry and Takht are two of her future projects. Karan Johar has placed Takht on hold for the time being as she wraps up filming for Good Luck Jerry.
