Janhvi Kapoor reveals 'father' Boney Kapoor 'cried for three days' after watching The Archies

Late Bollywood actress Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's daughter Khushi Kapoor made her debut in Bollywood in the year 2023 with Zoya Akhtar-directorial movie The Archies. Khushi Kapoor who is the younger sister of Janhvi Kapoor played the character of Betty Cooper in the musical-comedy drama The Archies. Recently, Khushi and Janhvi graced the Koffee couch at the Koffee with Karan Season 8 and the 'Kapoor Sisters' opened up about their personal life, love life, and many more things. Janhvi revealed that Khushi Kapoor is the favorite child of 'father' Boney Kapoor. Furthermore, she revealed how Boney Kapoor could not hold back his tears seeing Khushi Kapoor's acting in The Archies. here's what Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor said- 

 

Khushi Kapoor said, "I was always the favorite (of Boney Kapoor). And now everyone has accepted it finally." Karan said, "I believe he became hyper-emotional when he saw The Archies." Khushi replied, "Yeah, he cried. He was a bit emotional."

 

Janhvi interrupted and said, "A bit? I think he cried he cried for three days." Khushi then revealed, "I would get random messages from him saying, you are just so good dear. And it was really cute and sweet."  

 

During the show, Khushi Kapoor also denied that she is dating The Archies co-star Vedang Raina. 

 

How did Khushi Kapoor cope with her mother's death?

 

Narrating how she reacted and coped with her mother's death, Khushi Kapoor said, "I think it took me a while. It did suddenly hit me after a while. But I was a bit confused when ...I don't know. But, I had Janhvi, I had Dad."

 

Janhvi replied, "The thing I remember when I got the call I was in my room and I could hear wailing from Khushi's room. I think I barged into her room howling and crying. But what I do remember, Karan, is she looked at me. And the minute she looked at me she just stopped crying. And she just sat next to me and started comforting me. I have never seen her cry ever since."
