As per the official notification, the registration process for the Joint Entrance Exam – Advanced (JEE Advanced) would begin today, September 13 (afternoon). The process would be concluded on September 19 (5:00 pm) and application fees can be submitted till September 20.
The exam is scheduled for October 3, 2021 (Sunday).
JEE Advanced is conducted for the admission of students in under-graduation engineering, science and architecture courses in the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). 2.5 lakh top-ranked JEE Mains candidates would be eligible to give JEE Advanced exam.

Candidates who passed JEE Mains 2020, but failed to appear in JEE Advanced 2020, due to Covid-19 or any associated reason can directly appear in JEE Advanced 2021, without giving JEE Mains 2021.
JEE Advanced 2021: How to apply?
Candidates may follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for JEE Advanced 2021:
Step 1: Go to the official website – jeeadv.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, log in using the JEE Mains 2021 log-in ID and password.
Step 3: Create a new password for JEE Advanced, fill in all the required details.
Step 4: Upload all the required documents.
Step 5: Pay the application fee using online payment methods.
Step 6: Save, download and take a printout for further reference.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the result of JEE Mains 4th session today, as the registration process of JEE Advanced depends on the result of JEE Mains. After the result would be announced candidates may check it on the official website of NTA or JEE – jeemain.nta.nic.in or ntaresults.nic.in.
The category-wise cut-off and all India merit list would be announced along with the result of JEE Mains 4th session.
JEE Main result 2021 4th session will be announced for both paper 1 – BE, BTech and paper 2 – BArch and BPlanning.
