The much-awaited Jehanabad - Of Love & War is slated to release on Sony Liv on February 3, 2023, and the crime-thriller series looks promising ever since its trailer was released by the makers. Based in the backdrop of Bihar, Jehanabad - Of Love & War is called the next big thing in terms of web series after Netflix's Khakee. Apart from its storyline, Jehanabad has a stellar starcast including Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Ritwik Bhowmik, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rajat Kapoor and others in pivotal roles. Rajeev Barnwal and Satyanshu Singh are the directors of the series. The answer is Ajay Kanu aka Ravi. Reportedly, Ajay Kanu alias Ravi was the 2005 Jehanabad Jailbreak mastermind. In 2007, an Intelligence Bureau (IB) team arrived from New Delhi on Saturday to interrogate Ajay Kanu alias Ravi, the alleged mastermind behind the Jehanabad jailbreak incident. The team headed by an SP-rank officer visited the Bureau's office in the Danapur area and quizzed Kanu for several hours. Ajay Kanu, who is carrying a reward of Rs 5 lakh on his head, fell into police net when he along with two women activists was on their way to Kolkata from Dhanbad in Jharkhand. (Then) Reports stated that he boarded the train at Gomo railway station under Dhanbad railway division and was taken into custody midway.

The arrest of Jehanabad Jailbreak mastermind Ajay Kanu was viewed as a major setback to the naxal outfit. The Intelligence Bureau was keeping a close tab on his activities. Interestingly, Earlier, the Bureau had picked up another person in mistaken identity but he was released. The Bureau, however, refused to disclose the name of the two women, who were accompanying Ajay at the time of his arrest. Notably, Ajay Kanu was wanted by police of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Orissa and the sleuths interrogating him tried to extract information about the extremist movements and other related operations. Ajay Kanu was arrested by the special task force from Tankuppa police station area under Gaya district.

Where is Ajay Kanu now?

In 2021, Ajay Kanu was shifted to Bhagalpur Jail from Patna's Beur jail. He was shifted to Bhagalpur as his every action was being monitored by the Police and jail officials. As per reports, he was uniting with other prisoners and the Police had thought he might hatch some other plan. The Jehanabad jailbreak took place on November 13 when the police and administrative staff were getting the third phase of polling done. In Jehanabad, at 9 o'clock in the night, the gate of the jail was blown up by a strong explosion. Around one thousand Naxalites armed with many deadly weapons including machine guns attacked the jail and rescued more than three hundred prisoners. Most of whom were Naxalite supporters. The incident was such that State and Central governments were shaken to their core. It was like a war cry raised by the Naxalites.
