After a video went viral on social media in which a cop from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand was seen calling Moosewala a ‘terrorist’, the cop, Bhushan Kumar, has apparently apologized for his words.
Apparently, the cop was speaking to a Punjabi TV channel, says, he did not know who Moosewala was, and it was a “human mistake” or “slip of tongue” that happened.
Kumar said he never knew much about the deceased singer and had just heard about him when he was in the news after his death.
He also apologized to Sidhu’s family saying, “He prays that they get justice for him. My sympathies are with them, and I shall support them in every fight for justice”.

Later when asked how would he describe Sidhu Moosewala in future to which the cop said, “Moosewala was a grounded artist who was very close to the people and did social work”.
