Jigra Trailer: The much-awaited trailer of Alia Bhatt's upcoming movie Jigra was released on Thursday and it was indeed with a wait for the fans. Directed by Vasan Bala and Produced by Karan Johar among others, Jigra is an action thriller in which Alia Bhatt goes to extremes to rescue her brother played by Vedang Raina who is lodged in a jail abroad. Jigra Trailer started with Alia Bhatt talking on call and asking Vedang Raina if he had consumed any drugs or not. The trailer showcases that Vedang gets caught abroad allegedly possessing a few ounces of drugs. However, during the court hearing, Vedang was not given a chance to present his side of the story and hence he was jailed.
Hence, Alia Bhatt decides to go to the foreign country where her brother is kept in prison and rescue him by hook or crook. For this, Alia Bhatt trains herself to fight and then he broad a flight to rescue his brother Vedang Raina. Notably, Alia Bhatt plays the character of Satya, on the other, Vedang plays the character of Ankur. Satya has only one biological family member left i.e. his brother Ankur. Satya and Ankur shared a very special sister and brother bond since childhood.

Another fan wrote, "Satya means truth and she’d go to any lengths to free her brother whose wrongfully convicted she’d do just anything to bring him back home safe and sound that’s more like it cuz sisters are protective of their brothers."
Jigra will be released in theaters on October 11, 2024.
