For the unversed, a famous builder's minor son on Sunday midnight hit multiple vehicles with his speeding supercar killing two people including a woman and a man on a bike. Thereafter, the accused was thrashed by the locals and later Pune Police arrested him on multiple charges. However, being a minor 17 years & 8 months old, the Juvenile Justice Coard granted bail to the minor in just 15 hours. The accused was freed on some simple terms and conditions which included a 300-word essay on road accidents. As a result, the Pune Porsche Car Crash case sparked a massive outrage on social media. As a result, the Accused's builder father Vishal Agarwal was arrested on Tuesday. Now, the Pune Police on Tuesday addressed a press conference and revealed what is next for Vishal Agarwal's son.
What is next for Vishal Agarwal's son?
Pune Commissioner of Police (CP) Amitesh Kumar addressing a press conference said, "When the incident happened, we applied the non-bailable offence. Then, we moved the application in court for adult trial calling it a heinous crime. They disallowed it. We applied in district court against it. The hearing is expected today. We are exploring legal remedies. We believe that the juvenile should face adult trial. Three persons from the pub have been arrested. The father of the accused has been detained. Police will make every effort in this case."
Vishal Agarwal's son bail conditions
Prashant Patil, the top celebrity lawyer hired by builder Vishal Agarwal for his son informed to the media in a video that accused was arrested by the Yerawada police station and the honorable judge was “kind enough” to grant bail to minor under some conditions. He insisted that his client is duty-bound to follow the bail conditions.
As per reports, the 17-year-old, who was exiting a posh club in Pune at 2.30 AM, reportedly drunk and rashly driving his Porsche car, has been asked by the Juvenile Justice Board to work with a traffic police official for 2 weeks and attend psychiatric counseling sessions. He has also been asked to write a 300-word essay on road accidents and create traffic awareness boards.
