Kamala Harris, Kamala Harris US President, Donald Trump Victory Kamala Harris US President, How Kamala Harris can still become US President: Republican candidate Donald J Trump has won the US Presidential Elections with a historic landslide victory. Trump defeated US Vice President Kamala Harris by winning all seven swing states in the US presidential election. To be precise, US media confirmed that Donald Trump won a total of 312 electoral votes against Vice President Kamala Harris’s 226. However, do you know that Democrats candidate Kamala Harris can still become the US' first female President?

Sounds weird right? But, it is a possibility. A former aide of Kamala Harris named Jamal Simmons recently suggested that Joe Biden should resign and make his deputy the first woman President of the United States till Donald Trump takes charge on January 20, 2025. Jamal Simmons is Kamala Harris's former communications director. Jamal Simmons argued that the move would turn the tables on Donald Trump, who defied projections to win his second term as US President. Interestingly, Biden had already opted out of the US Presidential Elections after his one-time media faceoff with Trump. After that Biden endorsed Kamala Harris to run for White House.

If Joe Biden decides to resign, it is a possibility that Kamala Harris can still become the first female President of the United States despite Donald Trump's victory. Simmons ina conversation with CNN said, "He (Biden) could resign the presidency in the next 30 days, making Kamala Harris the President of the United States. He could absolve her from having to oversee the transition of her own defeat."

Interestingly, US Presidential Results 2024 mark the second time that Donald Trump has prevented the US from getting a woman President. In 2016, he came in the way of Hillary Clinton from creating history. Clinton, however, had more popular votes than Trump.
