Not even a single day passes by when a legal case or an FIR is filed against the Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. Recently, Kangana had revealed that 700 cases have been filed against her and every day a new case gets registered against her. . In a defamation suit filed by Javed Akhtar, the Mumbai magistrate has issued a bailable warrant against the actress.
News agency ANI reported, "Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Andheri issues a bailable warrant against actor Kangana Ranaut in a defamation case filed against her by lyricist Javed Akhtar. Court issues the warrant after she failed to appear before it despite being summoned."
In another case against her, the Karnataka High Court on Tuesday refused to stay the proceedings against the actress for calling protesting farmers as 'terrorists'. On October 9 last year, a Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Court at Bengaluru had directed the police to register an FIR against Ranaut for the tweets in question.
In response to all the cases, Kangana wrote, "Another day another FIR, yesterday Javed chacha with help of Maharashtra government got a warrant issued for me and now another FIR for supporting farmer’s bill, meanwhile those who spread lies about this Bill and Farmer’s genocide also caused riots, face no consequences. Thanks."
Kangana also hinted that she will not bend to anyone and wrote in Hindi, "कितने भी ज़ुल्म करलो, मेरा घर तोड़ दो या मुझे जेल भेज दो, या झूठ फैलाकर मुझे बदनाम करदो मैं नहीं डरने वाली, मुझे सुधारने की कोशिश करने वालों में तुम्हें सुधारकर दम लूँगी, करलो जितनी कोशिश करनी है मुझे अबला बेचारी बनाने की, मैं बाग़ी पैदा हुई थी बाग़ी ही रहूँगी...(Be it any number of persecutions, break my house or send me to jail, or discredit me by spreading lies, I am not afraid, you will be blown away by those who try to improve me.
