Mumbai Crime Branch's Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) has summoned Hrithik Roshan in connection with an e-mail case related to Kangana Ranaut. He will have to appear before the CIU on Saturday and record his statement. It is believed that CIU can record Kangana's statement after taking Hrithik's statement. The 5-year-old case between Hrithik and Kangana was earlier investigated by the cyber cell of the Mumbai Police. In December 2020 it was transferred to CIU.
In 2016, Hrithik filed an FIR against Kangana, according to which he received several 100 emails from 2013 to 2014. All these emails were sent from Kangana's ID. However, this case filed on behalf of Hrithik was against unknown, which was registered under Section 419 of IPC r / w 66 C and D. Senior Advocate Mahesh Jethmalani had written a letter to Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh questioning that no progress had been made in the investigation of the case. After this, it was transferred from cyber cell to CIU.
Kangana and Hrithik sent notices to each other in the case going on since 2016. Hrithik sent this notice when Kangana called him 'Silly Ex' in an interview. After this, it was reported that Kangana had mailed Hrithik several times while he was reportedly in relation with her.
Now, Kangana has yet again called Hrithik her silly ex. Kangana took to Twitter and wrote, "Duniya kahan se kahan pahunch gayi magar mera silly ex abhi bhi waheen hai usi modh pe jahan yeh waqt dobara laut ke nahi jane wala. (The world has moved on from where to where, but my Silly ex is still there at the same point where time will not go back again)"
