While the 2024 General Election is still afar, rumors and speculations have started to surface. Recently a post went viral on social media claiming that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will field Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut from Chandigarh seat for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024. A viral post of Him Prabha claimed that Kangana Rananut will be succeeding Kirron Kher as the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) nominee.
Written in Hindi, the post claimed that insiders within the BJP circles are contemplating Kangana as a replacement for the current Member of Parliament, Kirron Kher, bringing a cinematic touch to the political landscape. The post went viral on social media as Kangana Ranaut during Tejas promotions had expressed her wish to enter politics. "Shri Krishna ki kripa rahi to ladenge (If Lord Krishna blesses, I will fight),' Kangana was quoted saying.
Now, on the viral post of Kangana fighting Lok Sabha election from Chandigarh seat, the actress has responded. Kangana took to her Instagram handle and denied all the claims in her story. The post read in Hindi, "If BJP insiders are to be believed, once again BJP is going to contest the parliamentary seat of Chandigarh with an outside candidate. If sources are to be believed, BJP has found a replacement for current MP Kirron Kher from the film world itself. Yes, preparations have been made to make film actress Kangana Ranaut the BJP candidate from Chandigarh."
Reacting to this, Kanagan wrote, "My relatives and friends are sending this to me assuming the headline is my quote, the headline is not my quote all speculation."
