Bollywood actress has been cooking up a storm across the internet since the demise of 'Dil Bechara' actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely death.
She was among the first in the industry to speak up against Bollywood ill practices such as nepotism, gangism, and politics.
A few weeks ago, it was also reported that shots were fired outside her Himachal residence and the actress later stated that it was simply a way to intimidate her moreover, such threats wouldn't stop her from speaking up against the ill practices of the Mumbai Film Industry.
Fearing for the safety and well being of her daughter. Ranaut's parents reportedly tried to convince her to stop speaking out in this matter.
Now, the actress' mother decided to organize a 'Mahamrityunjay Jaap' to pray for the protection and well being/ safety of her daughter.

Moreover, she was also seen taking a massive dig at veteran Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar for his latest film on 'Gunjan Saxena' a Kargil war veteran and one of the first female pilots of the Indian Air force.
According to Ranaut (and most others across the internet), Saxena and her story/ journey has not been portrayed in the right manner and she feels that Johar has tampered with the real story of the Air Force Aviator.
