The war of words between Shiv Sena and Kangana Ranaut is getting intense day by day. Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has to face a lot of criticism on social media after he publically abused Kangana. In response, Kangana uploaded her video and accused Raut of promoting rape culture in India.
Now, Raut has shared a clarification on his and Shiv Sena's behalf. Raut shared the post and said, "Shiv Sena follows the ideology of great Hindutva icons Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the great Maharana Pratap. They have taught us to respect woman. But some malicious intent are spreading misinformation that Shiv Sena has insulted women. But one should not forget the fact that those making these allegations have themselves insulted Mumbai and our deity Mumba Devi. Shiv Sena will continue to fight the for pride of women. That is what our great Shiv Sena supremo has taught us."
Interestingly, the central government nodded to Kangana's request for protection and granted her Y Category security before her Mumbai Visit on September 9.
