Kangana Ranaut's high-octane aerial action film "Tejas" is set to make its digital debut next year, as announced by the film's makers. The action-packed thriller showcases Ranaut in the role of an Indian Air Force pilot, portraying the character of Tejas Gill.
Directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, "Tejas," which initially hit theaters on October 27, faced a lackluster box office performance and garnered unfavorable reviews. After a considerable period since its theatrical release, the film has now secured a streaming platform for its digital premiere.
In addition to Kangana Ranaut, the movie features a talented ensemble cast including Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsvardhan Rane, Divya Dutta, Anshul Chauhan, and Varun Mitra.
"Tejas" is scheduled to be available for streaming on Zee5, with its digital release slated for January 5th, exclusively on the indigenous streaming platform Zee5.
Expressing her aspirations for the impact of "Tejas," Kangana Ranaut emphasized the film's focus on the valor of the armed forces. She stated, "With 'Tejas,' our aim was not only to entertain but also to shed light on the passion and sacrifices of the armed forces. Through this film, we hope to address the challenges faced by those in uniform and inspire a collective responsibility to honor and respect them."
Ranaut further expressed her hope that audiences would connect with the compelling narrative and draw inspiration from the remarkable stories of real-life heroes. She concluded by inviting viewers to embark on an exhilarating journey as "Tejas" takes flight on the digital stage.
"Tejas" narrates the journey of a determined young woman striving to become a fighter pilot, challenging stereotypes and breaking barriers in a predominantly male-dominated profession.
