Mumbai crime branch officers on Wednesday raided Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami's residence and arrested the journalist. Going by the republic reports, Arnab was assaulted in front of his family by the Mumbai crime branch officers.
Encounter specialist Sachin Vaze clarified that Arnab Goswami has been arrested in the abetment of a suicide case.
Arnab Goswami, editor-in-chief and managing director of Republic TV, was booked under charges of abetment to suicide after an interior decorator allegedly killed himself over non-payment of dues owed to him by the news channel in 2018. The case was closed, however, Vaze revealed that the case has been reopened and evidence has been collected against Goswami and therefore he has been arrested.
Now, Kangana Ranaut has responded to the entire incident. The actress slammed the Maharashtra State Government and shared her video.
Kangana asked the Maharashtra State Government that how many people they will drag out from their house by their hair as voices will not stop against them. She also went to say that why the Shiv Sena gets angry when they are called penguins. The actress said that they are called penguins because they look like one.
Kangana said, "You assaulted Arnab and grabbed his hair in his house. How many houses will you break? How many necks you will choke? How many voices you will suppress? These voices will keep on increasing."

Kangana in her another tweet wrote, "Pappupro ko gussa kyun aata hai? Penguins ko gussa kyun aata hai? Sonia sena ko itna gussa kyun aata hai?Arnab sir let them pull your hair and assault you for the cause of free speech greats before us got hanged with smiles on their faces,Aazadi ka karz chukana hai."
The Mumbai Police has summoned Kangana in a sedition case on November 10. It is expected that after Arnab, Kangana is the next target of Mumbai police.
