During that, the Kanneda actor also pointed out to 'Hindi or non-Hindi' movies that have item songs in them along with people dancing with guns.

Talking to Brute, Parmish Verma said, "Show me any language which does have a gun culture. Every Hindi film or non-Hindi film has an item song that has a girl dancing along with the public with guns. We never had such music videos in Punjab. So, I don't know who you are referring to. I haven't come crossed anybody who has specifically said that Punjabi movies have such content. If it comes to strong lyrics, yes. Punjabi language, Punjabi music is so rich that if the song is about heartbreak then 'tere sehar nu salam kar chaleya'. Punjabi music explores deep into the various types of emotions. So, when it comes to aggression it's in depth. Because such songs go viral, successful,l and played in the clubs, we start thinking that these are the only songs. There are a lot of songs that don't have gun or alcohol references to it and they also do billion streams but we don't talk about it."
