However, Kanye had to face a major backlash when multiple 'inside' birthday party videos went viral which showcased sushi being served off women's naked bodies. While some criticised Kanye for including the Japanese practice, called nyotaimori, at the party, others could not look beyond how one of the well-known attendees at the event included Kanye's eldest daughter, North West, who is aged 9. North is the eldest daughter of Kanye West with his former wife Kim Kardashian. North was seen holding hands with Kanye's current rumoured wife Bianca Censori.

A Twitter account named Pop Crave posted photos of what they claim are moments from Kanye’s birthday party. The images show a naked woman lying on a table with sushi placed all over her body. The tweet claimed that the practice is known as ‘Nyotaimori.’ “Kanye West included the Japanese practice Nyotaimori at his 46th birthday party last night, which involves serving sashimi or sushi off the naked body of a woman,” the tweet reads. The photos are viral on social media and have been slammed by plenty of people.
Netizens slammed Kanye for being a misogynist for using human women's bodies as plates and claimed that he is becoming weirder with each passing day. The ancient tradition is frowned upon in several countries and deemed disrespectful to females. Having his daughter in his presence added further fuel to the fire as the practice was shown publicly at the party.
Kanye has been embroiled in controversies for a long time as he has been accused of being sexist and posting "revenge porn" in the form of a music video towards Taylor Swift, according to her. This incident has further dented his image.
